Get ready to embark on a joyful knitting journey in this "Doodle with Yarn" class! In this class, we'll dive into the whimsical world of stranded colorwork. Perfect for knitters of all levels, this class is your ticket to designing and knitting your very own vibrant projects using mix-and-match motifs available in the Doodle Pattern Series. Short rows are a way to add shaping to a project without the use of increasing or decreasing stitches! There are many different short row methods. In the class we will be practicing a few different short row techniques with special attention to the short row technique used in the class project. This class meets in-person at the shop. Learn the basics of crochet techniques in this class while crocheting a coaster. We will learn the basic crochet chain, slip stitch, and the single crochet stitch. After mastering these techniques in the first 90 min session, you will learn to make a simple scarf in the second session. This class meets in-person at the shop. Learn the beginning level of knitting techniques. This class is ideal for the those who have never knit before, or want a refresher of knitting basics. Topics include how to make a slip knot, cast on, the knit and purl stitch and casting off. Once you have learned these techniques you will be able to make a multitude of items!
