Course Overview
Get ready to embark on a joyful knitting journey in this "Doodle with Yarn" class! In this class, we'll dive into the whimsical world of stranded colorwork. Perfect for knitters of all levels, this class is your ticket to designing and knitting your very own vibrant projects using mix-and-match motifs available in the Doodle Pattern Series. This class meets in-person at the shop.

During the 1st session, you will learn techniques for working with multiple colors and how to read a colorwork chart. You will pick out your doodle project, selecting between a cowl, a scarf, and a beanie, and plan your colors. The 2nd session is 2 weeks later and will be a more practical session to answer questions that have come up while working on your projects. 

Skills Required
You should be able to knit, purl, cast on, and cast off. If you plan to make a cowl or a beanie, you need to be able to work in the round.

Skills Taught

• Working with multiple colors
• Reading a colorwork chart

• Your favorite Doodle Card Deck or the Doodle Knit Directory book
• Your favorite mini-skeins of yarn in either DK (Party of Five Mini-skein set) or Worsted (Alegria Grande Mini-skein bundles)
• Knitting needles appropriate for your yarn weight
• Stitch Markers, Tapestry Needle, Scissors

There needs to be a minimum of 3 people to run this class.
