Learn to Knit a Lace Patterned Vest

While many people are afraid of working lace patterns, you’ll discover not only that they are not that hard, they're also fun to do!

In this class you will learn the fundamentals of lace patterns and reading lace pattern charts all while creating the gorgeous Beneath Waves Vest.

Beneath Waves Vest is a versatile, transitional layer with three length options that can be worn as a sleeveless top or over a shirt or dress. The front and back are covered with an ornate panel of lace, bobbles, and garter stitch waves that is simpler to knit than it appears, with most rounds being either knit or purled. 

The lace pattern is both charted and in written form.

Skills Required:
You should be able to cast-on, knit, purl, work in the round, and bind off without assistance. You should be familiar with basic techniques for increasing and decreasing stitches. 

You will need to bring the following Materials/Supplies to the class
You will receive a 20% discount for your class supplies.

• Yarn to knit your vest (recommend Cambria DK or your favorite DK weight yarn)
• US 5 & US 6 needles
• Stitch Markers, scissors, row counter, tapestry needle

There needs to be a minimum of 3 people to run this class.

Full payment is needed to reserve your space. For a full refund on the class, cancellations must be made 5 days before the class. All refunds are given as store credit only. If we cancel the class for any reason or we are able to fill your slot, you will receive a full refund.
