Sheep Shearing Field Trip
It's Sheep Shearing time at Vineyard Valais! Join us for this unique field trip where you will have the opportunity to cuddle with a flock of Valais sheep and observe a local Sheep Shearer in action!
Brittany is a local Sheep Shearer and she has connected me with the farmers at Vineyard Valais for an opportunity to cuddle with the flock and observe their shearing experience!
If you are a fan of the film Sheep Detectives, the Valais Blacknosed Sheep were featured as part of Caleb's Flock. This breed originates from the Valais region of Switzerland and are known for their gentle temperament and striking appearance making them exceptional companions.
Space is limited and I will coordinate carpools to the farm in Paso Robles. The start time is 10:30AM but please plan to arrive by 10:15AM. I will follow-up with specific directions. Closed toe shoes and "farmy" attire are required.
The event fee pays the farmers and their staff!
