After working multiple cable and colorwork charted patterns this year, I spent my week working on mindless knitting and sewing projects. I discovered the Nevali Hat pattern and have already knit 2 hats!

I had a happy surprise this week when I received a skein of hand-spun yarn from Kristi. Kristi is a member of the Thursday night zoom group and a talented spinner and fiber artist. When the new Hand-Dyed Merino Spinning Fiber from Wonderland Yarns arrived a few weeks ago, I sent her a braid and asked her to spin a skein for the shop. The result is gorgeous and so soft! And she really loved working with the fiber! Stop in to touch it yourself!

The Central Coast Yarn Crawl is only 2 weeks away and it's going to be fabulous! There are 8 shops participating this year and a grand prize valued at $700!
