Bonfire Tee by Samantha Guerin is a light summer tee knit featuring an eye-catching colorwork yoke and a classic relaxed fit for no-fuss styling. The Bonfire Tee is knit seamlessly from the top down. The neckline is cast on and short rows are worked to raise the back of the neck for a comfortable fit. The colorwork yoke is knit, then the body and sleeves are separated and worked from the top down.
I chose to knit mine using the gorgeous Merino Linen yarns from cowgirlblues and combined a 2 solid colors with high contrast, specifically Camel and Cape Storm. We've also put together a few high contrast combinations that we recommend. If you want to chose your own colors, sizes 1-6 require 2 skeins of a MC and size 7 - 10 require 3 skeins of he MC. All sizes require 1 skein of the contrast color. You can easily build your own kit to design the perfect combo for you!
SELECTING A SIZE
This tee is intended to be worn with 2-6” / 5-15 cm of positive ease. Select a size 2-6” / 5-15 cm larger than your chest circumference. Measurements below are for the finished garment after blocking. My tee is knit in size 3.

MATERIALS
This kit includes the pattern and the appropriate amount of yarn for your size.
NEEDLES
Note that needle sizes are suggested only. You may need to use a different size to achieve gauge. Is used the following: Ribbing: US 3 [3.25 mm] Main: US 4 [3.5 mm]
GAUGE
24 sts and 32 rounds = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch, worked in the round using US 4, after blocking.
Note- You should always knit your swatch the same way that the pattern is knit—in this case, in the round. Block your swatch as you will your finished garment and allow it to dry fully before measuring.
