100% Tibetan yak down yarn in DK

From the Tibetan Plateau to you is this luxurious Yak Down yarn. The down is harvested on the Plateau by Tibetan nomads, spun in China, hand-dyed in the US, then sent to us. 

Inspired by the warm embrace we received from Tibetan friends when we first entered their homes, Embrace is luxuriously soft and scrumptiously warm.

About 218 yards on a 100 gram skein.

Finishing: Gently block finished pieces using a spritz bottle to dampen fabric. Press gently into shape and allow to dry thoroughly. For best results, block lightly after each wash.

Care,Hand wash cool water. Dry flat. Do not hang dry.

These yarns are gently spun to preserve the extraordinary softness of the fiber, so expect mild shedding in the first few washes.
