Course Overview

Short rows are a way to add shaping to a project without the use of increasing or decreasing stitches! There are many different short row methods. In the class we will be practicing a few different short row techniques with special attention to the short row technique used in the class project.

The class project is the Butterfly ~ Papillon Shawl, a pattern by Marin J. Melchoir. The store model uses 3 cones of Watercolor sock, a color-transitioning sock yarn. The pattern also includes a 6 color version that I recommend using Uni Perle for (available in 8 solid colors).
